Steering Wheel Swap (Focus)

Has anyone done it? I like the Focus wheel, it is smaller and has a larger diameter "ring". It's much more comfortable for my big hands.

Is it possible, er cost/time effective, to use the SRS after the swap? Can I still use the cruize control?

noone has done it, but it's probably possible. i would think that wiring would be a poss. problem. don't know if the mounting is the same or not.. only way to find out is to get one and tear into it.

The Focus probably has the Gen 2 Airbag system, which won't work on a SHO. The way to tell if the ring will fit is to find out if it has the same hub as a Mustang. If it does, then it will fit.

I was curious about the Gen 2 airbag situation, but I am not a huge airbag fan anyway. I just want the wheel.

I am searching around for one, so I'll post back when I figure it out.
