Starting!!

My 93 ATX has some kind of starting issue.....it has a new battery,alternator, and starter. The other day i was driving around starting fine. then at a taco bell the car barely started after i got it running it seemed like it was chugging i had to give it gas for it to stay running. Then after that there was no power at all the next time i started it. i tryed getting a jump from some one but nothing happened. then all of a sudden it started right up like normal ran perfect....it seemed like it didnt have a ground at all when i tryed starting it.


Would it be the fuel pump????????


Any help!! would be very appreciated!!!

Probably not the fuel pump...but it might be. I've seen fuel pumps that apparently died...only to be resurrected by whacking on the fuel tank with a rubber mallet a few times.

Can you test for fuel pressure? and when the car was so called "chugging" was the RPM gauge Jumping all over the place?

no the rpms were not jumping all around...did it again today but i got it jumped from a different car and started it about 6 times right in a row....its like something is getting left on or a bad ground.
