I'm new to the SHO community. I just recently bought a 91+ for $850, so far the motor has given me absolutely no problems, but it does have an oil and coolant leak(duh), but other than that it runs fine... once i get it started.
After the car sits for a while, or over night, when i go to fire it up it almost refuses, and during the car's refusal period, it will randomly turn over.. and randomly wont.., then eventually(usually after about 2ish turnovers) ill try to fire it up again and it will act like it's not going to start, then about half a second after i let go of the ignition it'll fire up, but my tach wont work, and it will miss when i tap the gas. EDIT: while writing this post i went outside and tried firing it up again, it did the same thing, turned over but didnt fire, then fired after i let go of the ignition, but it didnt miss when i hit the gas, then after about 2 minutes of idling, it randomly died, and i cranked it right after, and it fired up normally, and the tach worked and i drove it around.
Now, when i first got the car (about half a week ago) and drove around after the ordeal of getting it started, it would start up and run fine all day long. But it's getting increasingly more common of screwing with me during the day after ive warmed it up and drove it around. Help? im pretty stumped, but then again im not a genius. - thanks
