Sometimes when I start my car it will start then die. When I go to restart it, it will crank and crank and crank but wont start. I can only get it started by putting the throttle wide open but then once it starts it idles rough, and then it dies. It does this on occasion and lately has been more pronounced. What could this be? Im gonna check the plug wells tommarow to check for oil.

First train of action is to run the codes. The plug wells is really a blind guess. You may as well check the starter motor and the windshield washer pump while you're in there. :D The reason the throttle has to be fully open after the car quits is because the car is flooded.

It sounds as if your idle air bypass valve may be on it's way out.

Ran codes all clear 111. Did the compression test got a 9? Making my way to the plug wells now.

Clogged fuel filter? Pretty inexpensive/easy to replace.
Could be many things though.
