Starter Motor

My starter motor has been crapping out on me lately. Every now and then, when it won't turn over, I have to get under the car, and Butt it with a tire iron while someone sits in the car with the key turned to start. A fellow SHO owner said it could be wiring. Any ideas?

The solenoid is about to **** the bed. Start shopping for a new one.

My money is on the brushes being worn out. You still need to start shopping for a new one.
