How the **** did you remove the CPS without removing the dampner??!?!?!?

i took the crank pulley off but not the lower pulley for the timming belt. there is a slot that you can put in through. then i dropped one of the "phillips screws" why its phillips is beond me.

that is what i can't get off sorry

alright i had my air compressor to the max at 125 psi and i didn't break, I tryed to pull with my body weight and that didn't work, I guess the only thing to do is to put it back together and take it to a shop that can get the pully off. this sucks

unless you can help

I used a 2-jaw pulley puller :thumb:

spray it with PB Blaster and it will come off:salute:

Its quite easy to damage the lip of the pulley using that type of puller.

um ok but i had the impact whaling on it and when it finally came off there wasent any bends, cracks of anything. it was fine. for some reason mine was a pain to get off. i've done others and they came off with ease. i also did them the same way.

Got another problem, after i finished and put everything back i test drove it and the car seemed to do good, but not unitl i drove it for about 3 miles did all this smoke start coming out from behind the dampener pully, the only thing i can think of is the timing belt is getting squizzed between the cover and the belt it's self??? Has this happened to anyone before?
