stalling sho

ok here is what the nww plus is doing. usually when i am coming to a stop the tach well start to drop and want to stall.usually if i give it gas a few times then it wont stall and will idie right. once in a while it will stall and start right back up..check engine light is on and autozone said it was code 19 which is the cam position sensor! But i never have any hard starts or anything like that!

the cam sensor is not hard to do, but if its stalling now eventually it will die on you, most likely in traffic. i recommend doing it before its too late.

I would double check that code. Your vintage SHO has a 3 digit codes.

yeah i just checked and according to the codes page it says 19 could also be erratic idle or bad pcm. reset your idle as per spdatt's procedure and try taking it for a run.
