Stall speed for '97

What is the stall speed for a stock 1997 SHO?

When I power brake mine, it stalls at 2500. Seems a little high

Stock ATX stall on both the Gen 2 and 3 is 2400rpm.

TCCA members seam to get 2200-2350 on standard taurus models using scanning equipment to get an exact reading, so 2500 on a V8 sho going by the dash gauge isnt that far off.

I believe the standard Taurus is lower, but the SHO, according to my trans guy says it's 2400. When I had mine rebuilt, he upped it 400 to 2800rpm.

Stock ATX stall on both the Gen 2 and 3 is 2400rpm.

Incorrect WRT the gen 3. V8's on average stall around 2900-3000 on a factory converter. Almost every single rebuilt converter in a V8 out there is actually a V6 converter.
