Quick and hopefully painless question:

On the 3.2, next to the Fuel Pressure Regulator, there is another part very similar in appearance to the FPR also attached to the fuel rail. What is this part and why does it think it's a lawn sprinkler?

its the schroeder (sp?) valve that is used to test the pressure. sounds like yours leaks. that is bad since hot fuel tends to ignite....

Yeah I was definitely relieved that I had even made it home safely when I realized what the problem was. Pretty scary to think that the engine compartment was being misted in gasoline all the way home from work. The car has been parked since, of course. It wasn't the washers, it was actually spraying straight out the top where the little rubber nub is in the center. Luckily I have the original engine in storage still so I ran over there after work today and borrowed the old one off of there. Haven't made the swap yet but it worked fine when I pulled the engine so I should be back up and running tonight. Was just curious what exactly it was that I was replacing. Thanks guys. :)
