Speedometer Question

When I'm going 60 to 80mph. My speedometer acts really weird. It will shot up to 70 and then come back down to 60. And no I'm not hitting the brakes or the gas pedal. By the way the car is a 1995ATX. I love the car and spent a lot on it. Thanks for any advice.

I have a 95 ATX and I have the same problem only mine is no matter what speed Im driving.

it is the speedo cable, ford has a TSB on that item for that problem
