I just installed my speed hut gauges that I got for Christmas. I went with the white carbon fiber and the font to match my autometer gauges. They came with a free 2 color inverter (green and blue) and a t-shirt. The gauges look great, and are extremely bright at night, good thing there is a **** on the inverter to tone down the light if you don't want it too bright. It takes some getting used to. I will try to post pics soon

Were they a PITA to install? I have the regular white faced gauges and was wondering if it is the same installation. What was the final cost?

ya, they were a PITA to install. All you need to do is take those pegs off of the tach and speedo to install the indiglo pannel and rotate all the needles to the same direction (don't take any needles off!) and the indiglo pannel should go on (you also need to do this for the actual fuel and temp gauge.) Don't worry the needles should re-allign themselves in a few miniutes after the gauge is on. When you put the black bezel back over the gauges you kinda need to position the gauge the way you want it then screw it down to pinch the edge of the gauge; there is no adhesive on the back part of the actual gauge. After I got the bezel back on i thought S*** what about the clear cover cause it uses the same screws as the bezel and you cant position the gauges with the cover in the way. I just used the two top middle screws to attach the clear cover. The only thing i would like to do is change the color of the needles to an orange color to match my autometers. The white backing makes it a little hard to see during the day. I will be taking pics this week, I just need someone to post them for me, cause I don't know how, lol.

Got my SpeedHut gauges installed. I bought the Silver metallic ones. I don't yet have the nighttime pics because I must have connected the wires incorrectly because they don't glow. I will call SpeedHut tomorrow and find out what I did wrong.

I just got mine installed to. They look awsome though a little lopsided. I got the silver trimming as well. I have to go back and adjust the guage on the tachometer cause it barely reads and only goes to 3k RPM.

I hear that. Putting the needles back on in the correct spot is a real PITA. I had to drive around for a while with the thing off, so I could mess with them when I was moving.

Shotx,

Can't wait to see the night shots. Please offer any advice for those looking to get these. What a great looking dash now huh?

Listen, saw your great photo's. Where did you get the seat covers? Are they slip ons or like the www.leatherseats.com real leather seat covers you actually install?

I can't wait for the night shots either but it's going to be another week. I accidently pierced the glo panel and shorted it out. I sent it back and hopefully the replacement will be in next week.

I got the seat covers from wetokole.com.

Two questions:
One; Is there a poor mans version of the colored gauge covers for say ~$30 that can be combined with colored dash bulbs?

Two; Doesn't anyone make a temp gauge cover that goes over the original that represents acctual degrees however distorted the range may be?

I love them. They feel fine and you can still use all the seat functions as usual.

I paid $225 for them last year so they probably went up a bit but the fit is perfect, custom made to your vehicle.
