Speaking of oil

I have 115K on a bone stock engine and burn ( don't see any leaks anyway) a quart every 3000 mi. Is this typical? I use Havoline 5/30 and change it every 3500.

That is about right for consumption...

Ive been listening to all the talk about this stuff calles auto-RX and am considering giving it a shot... use the [SEARCH] feature...

My ony suggestion is to change the oil every 3k...

why the 3500?

Concerning the change interval, seems like by the time I get my act together to change it, I am right about at 3500. Thanks for the response.
