I have a 93 with the a factory sub and the speakers are doing the weirdest thing. The left front and rear dont work when using the radio but do when using the CD player. Any ideas why and is there a quick fix?

Thanks

I am fairly certain the wires are okay to the speakers, because they work when there is a CD in, but not when the radio is on.

Try removing the CD player and jumpering the speaker connector. I can't remember which ones but I know the information is at www.shotimes.com cos that's where I got the info to jump mine. If the speakers work with the connector jumpered, you know the problem is in the CD player and you need to replace it (or just get a new H/U). If the sound is still messed up, the problem is in the H/U (head unit) itself and it needs to be replaced. Simple! Get some Ford Radio removers (they're little U-shaped metal pokey things) from autozone or AAP.
