What are REALLY GOOD QUALITY wires for the SHO regardless of price minus using the Motorcraft ones. Mike

There are a lot of opinions out there-

I personally just bought Motorcraft for $100 from Fordpartsnetwork.com this year and wouldn't get anything else.

They should last a long time w/ proper maintenance- mine were the originals! eek!

Go with the TAYLOR custom set...Summitt Racing is about the only place I could find them. Nowhere here in Wisconsin carried them. I ordered them online, and got them in 3 days. I believe they were around $80. They fit like a glove, look good(Red), and when matched with nothing else but Motorcraft plugs, makes an unbeatable ignition platform. thumb

No, I'm looking for the BEST guys with the cost being a non issue. I've heard alot about the Taylors and was leaning towards them before posting. One question I have is what's to say the Motorcraft wires havent sat on a shelf for 5 years? Some Ford OEM parts for SHO's naughty just sit due to lack of people purchasing them. My brother is a Master Mechanic and has cautioned me that even though stock is rotated some parts just sit and dry out on the shlef. I also liked the 8mm Taylor VS. 7mm Motorcraft, and their wires I'm sure rotate off the shelf very well due to their aftermarket status. Please share your thoughts. Mike

Taylors are the best out there from what I've seen.

I just bought a set of motorcrafts for the slo for $32, and they were 8mm...
