Excellent! I was thinking it was only the strut difference between the 10-12 and 13+ knuckle.

Took the car to work today so I could add the fuel stabilizer and fill the tank for the last time this season. Everything seems fine, no shakes, doesn't pull, so I think we're good to go. Didn't open it up all the way but ran it to about 110 passing a couple cars and everything was smooth. Won't know the final verdict until I can see what that tire looks like at the end of next season.

Well, not everyone's last name is Rockefeller now is it....
I did laugh at that one. Seriously though I understand that the price goes way up when changing everything out, I did this already on my interceptor, but for me if everything has to come apart to change one thing, bite the bullet and change everything.

When I bought my '12 the previous owner told me it needed sway links to fix the clunk in the front end and he was kind of right, the front passenger link was toast. But after putting both front links in there was/is still a clunk in the front passenger side that shouldn't be there. After further investigation I found the passenger side lower ball joint is bad, which means replacing the whole control arm assembly. However, I'm having trouble finding LCAs from a brand that I'm familiar with that won't cost me a fortune. I run a parts store so I know and trust Moog, Carquest, and Dorman as those are the lines I carry and have sold to my commercial shops and used myself. From what I have found to this point Moog only offers LCAs for the 13+ cars, Carquest doesn't offer any for the 10-12 cars either, and Dorman does, but the last time I checked there weren't any available out there anywhere. They are available through Ford, but I'd have somewhere around $300 invested by the time I bought the arm and rear bushing, and I'd prefer not to spend that much if possible. I did the search on Ebay and came across brands like Detroit Axle and Mevotech but I don't know anything about them.

After a quick search it seems like I'm not the first SHO owner to need to replace a LCA, so what route/brand is everyone going? Any input would be appreciated, thank you.
Imma buy Detroit axle and let you know how it goes
