Wow! that thing is unreasonably close to showroom condition. The 3.8 had more torque than the SHO, though I am finding a lot of variations in claimed 0-60. IF you could find a wiring harness to manage a swap it would be a worthwhile project but given the price they got, you'd probably be decreasing the value of the car. Strangely one of the tech references that came up claimed that the '92 Taurus L had traction control? and stability control? Don't think so.
