So, after many many years of planning, reading, searching, drooling, and gathering parts... I am FINALLY working on my 3.2 swap. Im very excited!
Here are a couple pics...
Green 95 MTX
Organ Donor- Blue 95 ATX
This car literally had to be pulled out of the ground. We were told that it had sat for 6 years... was last started about 2 years ago but would not move due to an unknown trans issue. A friend of mine bought the car and we went and pulled it up onto a flatbed (when it was about 0 degrees with a -20 degree windchill mind you). The car was unfortunately unsalvageable due to severe neglect and rust.
Having only ever worked on a 3.0 until recently... i was VERY impressed with the weight of the AXOD SHO. Holy $&*% that thing is heavy!
I was glad to see the internals of the 3.2 looked very good. No signs of excessive wear or damage to the crank or pistons. The oil that came out looked dark, but not too bad. No metal shavings or bits in the pan. I believe there is (only) 80K on this motor.
So at this point, im waiting on rod bearings so i can get the bottom end maintenance done. Once thats done, I will get the 3.0 oil pan up on there and get to cleaning up the block. I was relieved to see that it looks like i got a good candidate for a rebuild.
I will keep this thread updated as i get more pics.

Is it wrong that we used another SHO to pull the cradle out from underneath the donor car??
