Someone tell me an SHO doesn't run 17's

I was trying to find some information on what a cadillac STS runs 0-60 and in the 1/4 mile for a friend that wants a good real estate agents car and that can perform (he's had 2 SHO's and wants to try something different). I know, I know.
I can say I was incredibly ****** off when I found the only sites I could find said that an 89 does 0-60 in 6.6 and 15.2. (not bad) then a 91 does a little slower than that, and when it came to a 93... 7.5 0-60 AND 17 IN THE1/4. 17!!! then it said a regular 89 taurus runs the 1/4 in 17!!! Do these people do too many drugs or what? They said all these facts were taken from motor trend, car and driver, etc.
Oh and by the way it says a Chevrolet Beretta does better than an SHO, gimme a break! I'm getting ****** off thinking about it.
I know my 93 will do better than this. I've taken down all but 1 car so far:
98 eclipse gst (manual)
celica gts (manual)
96 mustang GT (manual)
many other little rice burners that think they are fast

Lost to 70 something Duster (oh well, it was fun trying)

Maybe I'll buy a ford festiva. That should be a good run with my 93 SHO

I'm sure my old vulcan used to run 17's.... Not even the "slowest" of the shos (my gen 3) runs 17's.... the site is wrong.

I've seen a gen II run 17s. But it was an autotragic

That was either a car and driver or a road and track test. They tested a full weight 93 ATX. I dunno what they were doing and the car musta been an absolute dog. Should of atleast broke into the 15's.

17...psh..i could fire up the old 120K mile, never seen a 60K, slipping trans SHO and it wouldnt even be that slow...

or..well..maybe it would be.

But the busted suspension sure makes it feel fast! talk about a rear end squat!

well my stock 94 with just flowmaster mufflers and removed silencer ran 15.7's... u can't trust car and driver or motor trend any more these days..
