I have a black 1998 SHO. It has 81,*** miles on it. I have a gen 1 and a gen 2, and i am unappy with the suspenion ride quality on the gen 3. In my opinion it is a little too stiff and a little jittery on new york roads. I was wondering if there were any after market shocks that are softer than stock, or anything i can do to mine

Pretty much what he said. If you think that's stiff, ride in mine.

Your car isn't lower than stock is it?

Is the SARC fuse in place in the fuse box on the radiator support?

It does look a little lower in the front, I have speed bumps on my block, and I go over them at about 4 mph, and the bottom of the bumper still scrapes the bump. Slowly on the way up and the way down, and don't even get me started on trying to get out of a parking lot... I will consider trying the Taurus setup. And yes, all of the fuses are in place.

From the sounds of it, you are running a good deal lower than stock, so something has been altered at some point.

Well as the suspension not being stock is not possible because I bought it new in 98, but I do think there is something wrong

Yes, then you are I am pretty sure right, there is something wrong with the suspension.

Is it that low evenly, that is, at all 4 corners?

The front yes, the back I have stuff in the trunk most of the time, so that's lower, but I just found out there are bags (air ride) for the sho. So I wil be upgrading to that wen $ is good.

Joe. Thanks

You might want to look at the springs too, when doing your upgrade, though not being familiar with the "bags (air ride)" you mention, perhaps they come with springs as a set, so that would take care of that. Rates might be different, though. Best of luck with it and let us know how it comes out.

Ya, thanks. For now im going to have my mechanic take a look at it and hopefully fix what is probably wrong. But then later this year im going to send her down to georgia to a place that can do anything to the SHOs. Im going to have a manuel swap, air ride put in, re wrap interior seats and have all of the door dings taken out of that top part of the door on the gen 3, all you gen 3 owners know what im talking about, that part stickes out further than the rubstrip and gets all dinged from a woman named nancy geting out of her town&country, opening her door too much hitting my damn door and make me fix it all the time
