Attempted to do my rear wheel bearing.
Got the car in a nice level spot, jacked it up, placed the stands underneath, removed the wheel. Removed the caliper, pads, and went to go break the axle nut loose and the wheel just spun.
I spent hours trying to figure out a solution to prevent the wheel from spinning...Then it hit me.
I could have just left the damn caliper and pads on and had someone press the brake pedal while I broke the damn thing loose. All I ended up doing was cleaning the brake hardware and re-applying anti seize to the metal clips where the pad sits.
I may not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but at-least I tried.
Oh well, we'll attempt it again this weekend.
