So what did you do to your SHO today!?

Attempted to do my rear wheel bearing.

Got the car in a nice level spot, jacked it up, placed the stands underneath, removed the wheel. Removed the caliper, pads, and went to go break the axle nut loose and the wheel just spun.

I spent hours trying to figure out a solution to prevent the wheel from spinning...Then it hit me.

I could have just left the damn caliper and pads on and had someone press the brake pedal while I broke the damn thing loose. All I ended up doing was cleaning the brake hardware and re-applying anti seize to the metal clips where the pad sits.

I may not be the brightest bulb in the pack, but at-least I tried.
Oh well, we'll attempt it again this weekend.

You need to invest in a proper impact is what I'm hearing!

It's next on the list for sure. Could definitely save a lot of time by removing the lug nuts with an impact versus a ****** little socket.

I might just go with a Milwaukee impact and not have to worry about any stubborn bolts.

Or I might just get something half-way decent for the time being and get something better when I get a house.
So many options.

I bought a used DeWalt and I've never had an issue. My buddies Milwaukee tools are pretty shiny though and get the job done pretty well also! I think now a days unless you're using it for your job any of the major brands get it done fine.

If you live in an area prone to rust, be prepared with a plan B, C, D and E. Those wheel hubs stick badly and can be a pain to remove.

Yeah...Wisconsin here. It's been through a couple of winters already so I'm already thinking that it's going to be a pain. We salt our roads too lol.

I think it’s almost time I get a larger compressor and some more powerful tools like that impact and an air ratchet. My air impact is a cheap Kobalt one and it’s not too powerful. I got an air ratchet but it’s only good for 35ft/lbs it’s not very strong.

I've broken some good bolts with my 500ft-lb electric one... I can only imagine what I could destroy with a 1190ft-lbs one !
Maybe I should start using the torque bar/stick set I bought with it...

A few techs at my shop that use them swear by the Dewalt 20v impact, I haven't brought myself to buy one since I almost never need one but that's a good option.

Biggest mistake guy's make is not using a large enough supply hose to it and blame it on the tools.
No your curly 1/4 line will not give you the proper air flow

Added a little custom touch to my already custom steering wheel. Cut out SHO and put it on the lower portion of my wheel today.

Yeeted the driver front axle so replacing that today. Already got her pulled out. Also got an 18" vibrant resonator installed on the car. Much more drivable now without giving the world the trumpets!

Took a little ride near Jordan's neck of the woods to Auxvasse, MO. Today. If he hadn't installed the resonator I probably could have heard it.
For all you guys on the fence about electric tools, go for it. I do this for a living and swapped all my stuff over for Milwaukee and never looked back. Still have all my air tools on stand by, but it's great not having to trail air lines.
