Well today I got everything straight out with that motor situation. They have one left from a 2012 Ford Flex with 80k miles I said no thank you when the engine they gave me the first time at 60k. So I made a deal and purchased a new reman motor.
So now basically everything I bought for the past four months is new. New motor, transmission, PTU, Turbos, Exhaust manifold, replaced all plastic tubing, oil lines, motor mounts, exc.
So excited I can't wait for everything to be put back together. Yeah I spent a little more than I wanted to but what's done is done.
I will post pictures of the build once it gets started next week

Anybody ever remove the sun shade in the back? I'm not one to put vinyls on my car, BUT.... what if you vinyl'd something on that sun shade. You could roll it up to taunt "sport" cars and leave it down the other 95% of the time.

I'm thinking big white lettering to grab attention. I mean, who really uses the sun shade that often so it'd be perfect for something flashy that you don't want to display all the time.

I want to put lettering on my windshield in reverse that says "Not a Cop", so that people stop driving the speed limit in front of me, on single lane roads.

I took it off a few months ago to get rid of some high volume bass rattling. Remove the tray and then 4 bolts.

That's good lol. Kinda like the upside down roll me over lettering on Jeeps.

I use mine a lot at night to keep the headlights out of my eyes. I wish I could make it come back up after I go in reverse. Like a “back to previous settings” type of thing.

I wonder if I leave it up then crawl underneath there and unplug the motor would it stay up 100%..
I will try that after I get my car all back together from the shop..

Yesterday, I changed the oil and as much PTU fluid as I could. The latter, was the best I've gotten so far. 12 ounces. Each time I change the oil, I use my Vacula brake bleeder to draw as much as I can get. To the good, the fluid this time was less contaminated. Anyhow, then pump new fluid in with a cheap bottle top pump from Wal-Mart. I probably am doing this more often than needed, but for the effort taken, and the small amount of fluid...it's worth it to me.

Now, I need to get it back to the dealer...or just order the washers myself for the TSB of CV joints clicking...
