This morning, after returning from work and playing shuffle all the cars, I cracked open craft beer #2, sat in the SHO, and sighed as the realization of old man winter not being too far off settled in.

With all the recent rains, and an unfolding, craptastic forecast for yet more rain to come today, tomorrow, and all throughout the upcoming weekend, its unfortunate the SHO hasn't seen more mileage this year.

So much so that the wife called her Mom yesterday (she holds all of our insurance policies) and placed the SHO into "storage" status.

What. The. F@ck!?!?

I quickly cancelled that status change. Chastised the wife and told her that November 1st is a much more realistic date.

That said, we did purchase the oldest daughter a slightly used 2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium this past weekend. Loaded to the hilt with every/all options and only 26k on the clock.

Oxford white and tinted windows made me jokingly quip it's like a mini-SHO.

She's excited to say the least as it's her 1st official car all to her own. Living in the city (of Chicago) its relative size makes it great for parking and at her budget, the gas mileage is an added bonus.

Out of an abundance of caution, I am opting to place brand new Continental DWS06's on it for her later today.

A couple of pre-bpd car show detail pics to ogle over. I spent this entire past Sunday doing my own extensive detail on it, removed all the dealership emblazoned logos from everywhere too. What a PITA. I'll never understand why they plaster their crap all over the place. To me, word of mouth is a much better sales pitch than logos all over a car they sold. Drove my sho for the first time since April. It’s been sitting in the back corner of the garage getting dusty since my new car arrived. It fired right up like it had been driven yesterday. I expected the tires to feel “square” from sitting but everything was perfect. Sure felt good driving. Took it for a bath, then kept it out for 3 hours. I was getting anxious for this day.

Dyno'd the SHO on Friday. 105 degrees with IAT2's in the 170's. On a AJPTurbo e/30 tune.

366 hp and 414 tq in pretty stupid hot weather....with ZERO knock held right 17 to 18 degrees and at 14 psi.

Then I drove to Cali and averaged right at 22 mpg gallon the whole trip averaging 82 mph. I am happy to say the least.

Heading to the track this weekend. Hoping to crack into the 12's in this heat.

Also, when it cools down here....I think I may have a chance at cracking 400 WHP.

That is one slick looking Lincoln! I would say maybe get the chrome wrapped. Then at least u can remove it if you don’t like it. I think it would look good either way.
That's what I'm thinking (wrap). Although plasti-dip is a sin to some, I'm also considering that since it too is removable. Even thought about doing the wheels in silver to see how that looks.

What kind of wheels are those?

Just finished installing my new VLED Evolution headlight bulbs.

Being one of the 'lucky' Canadians with halogens, this seemed like a good upgrade path but LED bulbs are still being improved all the time.

These ones just came out, (yesterday?) and they are very bright!! Don't have any light readings but the beam pattern looks good, works well in the oem housing. View media item 335

Clay Barred the sho. I have never done clay bar before. You couldn't see the contaminates but you sure could feel them. I don't know why but it only needed it on the sides of the car. The top panels were smooth. Anyway, it came out good and ready for wax.

I have used VLED before. Not headlights but their Triton bulbs seem very high quality and they keep revising them to improve as well. I have a set of switchbacks I have to get time to install.

Gave the SHO a wash and little detail yesterday.
Also both in the same day, the rear sunshade stopped working, and the climate control broke on the drivers side as well (previously broken pass side). :mecry:

I gave my SHO a tune up today yup ! A nice 93 v11 performance tune up. Drove about 80 miles not really sure when the system learns the tune and my driving style. However did feel a change in the car before parking it verses the start of the drive so. FUHGEDABOUDIT ! Gonna be amazing.

had a code po2099 come up. Never checked any codes before the tune could I have had this issue before the tune. Loaded the 93 soft tune yesterday now that I think about it we cleared codes yesterday thought it was just cause we unplugged a few hoses to get to the plugs a little. Better now worried if I had this issue before the tune now I have to fix. Don’t want the dealer to know I flashed the computer they will say it happened cause of the tune. Al though did have the computer scanned a month ago nothing came up then. Lil worried

None of those at all , no check engine. Car runs good. Just put the stage 1 performance pkg on from LMS. Plugs, Tstat , Cai , 3 bar map. Used the original mas sensor on the intake.

original mas sensor? do you have a 3 bar map running on the intake now? i assume so since you are not getting a boatload of warning signs and the car is driveable.
