Who did you purchase the vehicle from? Start blasting the major tuners and ask if they have record. Some may allow you to pay a transfer fee to continue tuning with them.
I bought it from a local used car dealer.

It is what it is. I like gear head, will stick with them. Shifts seemed...mild...for a tuned car, from what I hear. Shifts way more violently now. Pulls harder, just not...as big of an increase as I expected.

gotcha, well best to start fresh with something you know anyway. Enjoy it. Datalog it and send it in if you think they can push it more. make sure that OAR is maxed out as well.

93.
But it seems that I may have been driving a car with a tune already.

This question is for tuners...

If a car is already tuned and you do not get the tuning device (let's call it SCT1) with it and then get another tuning device (let's call it SCT2), when uploading the new file ,will SCT2 see the current file (tune file from previous owner) as the "Stock File" and save it as such?

As long as the previous tuner did not scramble the serial to prevent tampering, yes you will just save the current tune as the stock file. If the previous tuner scrambled it (which most due to prevent HPTuners read access) you would need to reflash the computer to stock in order to unlock the computer for tuning.

But then, where will you get the stock file from? Dealer?
If this didn't happen to @Kevin81, either his vehicle was stock or the tune file was not scrambled, right?

judging by the map sensor that he removed it's been installed for a while. Probably before HPTuners added Ford support so there was no need to scramble.

SOMETIMES you can contact SCT and they can send you a new stock file.

Cuz it'd be dead?
IIRC..LMS changes the strategy. You would need their device to revert back to stock, then you would need the original strategy off your car to use SCT. Seems you already had a SCT based tune, and it was straight forward.

View attachment 15367 Old on the left...new on the right. They're identical?
This got me thinking for a while and I finally went and compared those to the ones I got.

You had AA5A-9F479-CA on the vehicle, that matches the PN for the stock 2 BAR MAP sensor I got when I bought my SHO which also has 5WK9 6847 stamped on it.

Gearhead sent you AA5A-9F479-AC (not identical, one is CA the other one is AC). Not sure what this PN means...

After lots of searching I believe AA5A-9F479-AB is a 3 BAR, which is what I have on mine. 5WK9 6848 is stamped on it.

I also found some posts about people saying their 3 BAR sensors were -B, -D...

What did GH said -AC was?

There should be a Sticky with the PN for these sensors.

good eye, was way too late for me to be on social media when I responded.

-CA is stock

-AC, B-, D, are all 3 Bar revisions over the years.

Sunday I finally picked up some e85 also (from the pump). My local e85 is true 85% so I don't see the benefit in "race" e85 since it's getting cut with 93 octane anyway.
He doesn't have any pump E around him.

I was also thinking those were exactly the numbers that were on my 2 bar as well

Need to test yer 93 tho. My 93 came up as 7% ethanol, so I actually need 4 gallons

That was just a ball park. I have pump E54 and 91 out here. Both test a steady 54 and 10 respectively. I usually run it at 35% because of the heat. However I have a pump now so I have more wiggle room.

Right on, just throwing it out there for others' reference to not take e10 for granted. In the grand scheme a couple percentage points doesn't really mean anything though, I guess.
