After I got mine all back together I went to the grocery store and coming out realized that I didn't hook up the parking lights. I had the cross traffic monitors hooked up but no LED strip... luckily I can access it through the wheel well.

I have done the exact same thing lol.

definitely a curse. mine sits outside, so it gets naturally washed once a week. I need to get it ceramic coated before it starts getting any paint issues.

Just bolt ons... CAI, cooler plugs and thermostat, 3 bar MAP, and 93 octane tune.

I always wonder since I'm in a Taurus "did he underestimate and not go all out". But then again our HP #'s should be comparable but his is an older car and RWD. I'd love to be a fly on his dash when it happened.

You guys do make roughly the same hp, however you probably make more tq and AWD is the biggest factor. My buddy had (just wrecked it) Whipple 03 Cobra that made 500 to the tires. I would devastate him from a dig, from a medium roll it was a different story lol. Tables turned quite quickly.

I had a 07 GT Mustang with the TVS-2300 (Roush supercharger) before I bought this car. It was dyno'ed at 475 to the rear wheels. I never got the opportunity to put the 2 cars head to head but I completely understand where you're coming from. When I wasn't getting boost lag in the Mustang, I'd do good not to spin through 1st and 2nd gear on a hard launch. From a 60 MPH roll, that car came alive. I do think my SHO would have beat it off the line.

I guess I'm used to Cobras making 1200+ around here on E85 haha.

Yeah my buddies car was limited because he would only run 91 octane. 91 is the highest we have here in PHX. To be honest he drove that car everywhere. It was pretty awesome. Between the crap gas here, hot temps, and street tires...it was a handful to get it to hook up on the street decently from a dig.

I guess I'm lucky. We have 93 everywhere around here. That's all I ran in the Stang and now in the SHO. Sometimes I forget and put it in my beater F150.
