Finally running. It was the Crank sensor. Hasn't failed to start in about 20 starts so far.
While I was there I installed a coolant jug and egr switch that has been throwing a code from time to time.
Now on to figuring out my wiper issue. I had a bad switch, installed a used one which gave me my intermittent wipers back but no park and would stop in the middle sometimes. Replaced the relay box under the dash, now everything works except park. I installed a reman motor last year. Will have to pull it and see if the park slide is working(I think that was what parked it).
I also have a tone ring rusted up or broken somewhere. It pulses the brake just as the car comes to a stop. I had this happen before and it was a cracked tone ring, one other time it was a rusted up ring on the rear.
One thing that sucks about the struts I installed were they were loaded. The springs are stiffer and the car now sits about an inch higher. It was a perfect height before, fender lip even with the top of the tire. This will be better for my kids but still, miss that low stance.
Volvo rims look great on this car. Now for a new sticker and put the studded snow tires on.
