Contour rear window switch
I did the rear Contour window switch repair about six months ago and it is working great.
I did'nt have to do anything to the cage or grind anything down on the sunroof cover. The hardest part was drilling the holes in the pins, just be paitent and use heat shrink to keep the wires from shorting together. I got the switch off ebay for around twenty dollars and it took about thirty minutes to splice in the new wires and drill the holes.
Given the build quality of the new napa switches this is the best way to go.
It looks great and there is only a very small gap around the new switch. I like it alot better than the plain brown switch. The contour switch is lighted and the feel is much better.
Lastly the switch is held in by the spring clips on the back side and the switch face on the front. The switch is designed to carry the current for the window so it is plenty enough for the sunroof motor.
