Simple question regarding bellhousings

I can't seem to figure out this search function, so here goes.

Are the bellhousings between the AX4S and AX4N the same? Meaning if I had a bad 4S, could I physically bolt the 4N to the block without issue (nevermind wiring).

Only if its bolted to a Vulcan.

You will have major wiring and CPU issues though.

So they did change the bellhousing between the 3.0 and 3.4...

Can I assume that the bellhousings are interchangeable with the Vulcan transmission?

Oh yes, the V8 is different, it has the Duratec pattern.

The Vulcan and SHO have the same bellhousing.

The transmissions are very different and will not swap over very easy.
