Well my power steering is pretty much shot. It's time to fix it because it pretty much doesn't work at all, lets just say it's all me steering that thing. Anyways, what are the signs of a bad pump? Rack? Right now I have no assist at all. It makes that squeeling noise that drives you crazy if you try to turn the wheel while stationary. I'm assuming it has to be the pump or the rack itself. I have no knowledge in this area though and need some input. Any help would be great. And assuming it's one of the two, how much fun will it be to fix if I have access to a heated garage? Any special tools? Thanks in advance
