I don't recall the SHO Shop selling springs with OEM ride height. SHO Shop sold linear springs (hand wound lowering springs), eibach and later Intrax.

Some of the linears sagged, but if they have already been used and weren't sagging, they probably won't start to sag at all. I've got a used set on my car that I love. My car is low, and I mean really low. My tires rub if I hit bumps, but in the corners, the car stays flat. It handles great IMHO. I like the softer ride of the intrax for normal street use, but I don't drive the car normal at all. I drive it to and from the track and to prey on the other cars in town.

give me the sag baby!

I have so much fendergap up front with these 205-50 tires I'm worried that my Intrax's won't drop it low enough, and I really don't want to cut a coil off of them........

Ride height - unknown. There were so many different sets with too many variations in the build. I can tell you this though, I have a used set that are probably pretty similar to your set and my sho was lowered about 1.5 - 3.0inches in the front and probably 1.0 - 2.0 in the rear. My car sits low but then again the stock springs were so saggy that I'm kind of guessing on how much it was lowered from stock ride height. From what it was with the saggy springs I dropped about 1.5 inches in the front and about an inch in the rear. My friends car with intrax sits higher than mine. A friend with one coil cut in the front on intrax sits about the same height both front and rear, give or take a half an inch.

Firmness - Stiff. Not bone jarringly stiff, but stiff none the less. Some sets were stiffer than others but mine don't ride that rough. The intrax/eibachs ride better when going straight, but not by much. I couldn't really tell a difference between the 3 different springs until I got in the corners. at best the intrax/eibachs were slightly smoother on the highway, and it's marginal if at all. Coil overs are a lot stiffer.

Handling - I think they handle awesome. They are stiff from the get go, unlike the intrax/eibachs. The intrax/eibachs are progressive so they leave a little body roll, but the linears are stiff from the beginning. What I've noticed from the intrax at track day compared to the linears at track day was that they both handled about the same but linears seemed to have less body roll. Less body roll is a good thing. The linears with a 24/26 sway bar combo compared to the more optimal 22/26 sway bar combo the intrax had handled about the same. Both cars have quiafes, koni's and almost everything is tpr on both as well(with the exception of the car with linears had a couple stock bushings left).

Tokicos - I will say this, I would go for Koni's. The Tokicos ride nice but the adjustability of the Koni's is worth the money. Plus, the Koni's aren't really that much more expensive than the Tokico's. In fact, if you shop around like I did,you can find koni's(new in the box) cheaper than Tokico's at most places(like I did).

No more Tokicos

Kinda moot point with there being no more Tokicos. I thought mine were a little rough but I've lost my two back ones. I have the Eibach springs, H brace, subframe, and strut towers

thanks for your input:hail:
i would have gone with Koni's but i got the struts and spring as a package deal for a good price with WAY low miles.
my plan for the car was to run a 20.6mmfront and 26mm rear bar an replace my balljoints and all my bushings.

If you got them all for a deal then go for it. The 20.6/26 sway bar combo is good and with the linears you should have just a tiny little bit of oversteer. Not too much but depending on what you had before it might be a lot to you. You'll like that setup I think. That's what I'm going to go with for a front bar. My 24 is sometimes too much and the 20.6 would give me just the right amount of front end movement. The rear linears are a lot softer than you would think, and because of this the bigger sway bar seems to keep it a little stiffer in the turns. but the fronts are so stiff it feels like the 24mm bar is hindering it's full potential. I'm not looking to get a new sway bar for the front anytime soon but if one falls into my lap, I'd install it. I really do like the way it handles now and that is why I'm not actively searching for a new bar yet.
