Aaaaaaand the SuperCoupe. Someday, I will have one. Hopefully in better shape than this.

If anybody knows any SC guys looking for parts, this one had a mint steering wheel, all the gauges, the diff, and the 5-speed still intact. The rear bumper cover looked good, and the front passable. The Supercharger of course was long gone.

Yup. I already got the trunklid and spoiler. The hood was missing, so I don't know if it was the plus hood with the bulge.

Yeah, junkyards hack out ALL converters. That is part of the processing procedure.

Yep. Some times they miss them, but not often. I noticed you were looking for an MTX catback...I was for a while, and one thing I hated was, when the cut the cats out, they just hacked the end of the resonator pipe off, so I couldn't find a complete exhaust (until I didn't need one).

Ahhh, this is across the country, but I still want to go to a bunch of junkyards now.

yeah, for some reason it is technically against the regulations to sell used converters, so the jy has to pull them out lest someone want to buy and use them...

Need Cup/Coin Holder

Thanks for doing this!

I talked to someone on this board last year about a coin/cup holder for a 1990 SHO. They had one, but I couldn't get over to their part of town. I will be in Phoenix the last week of April and would like to get that part if possible. Hope they still have it or know where another on that stays locked into place is.

We have such a large black market here that shops pay "yard dogs" to go and strip out any and all converters. The third world shops around here are not worried about regulations in the least. In one instance, some pretty smart thieves staged a fake car dismantling operation so that people in the apartment complex would dismiss the noise of a sawzall going through metal, only to find out that half a dozen cars had been stripped of their converters.

D'oh!

Guilty! I still have it in the garage somewhere. I'll keep my eye out. Coming out for the Pantera convention again? PM me for contact info if you need.

If you get any Ecoboost transverse vehicles please let me know!!! I need a motor or even just heads/intake off of one for experimentation. Any of the transverse motors are the same.

I don't work at or own a junkyard. I simply posted up the SHOs I came across at the local 'U-pull' yards.

Man, that's a lot of Gen3 cars! Tempting to start pulling valve covers and grab the motors if any were scrapped for transmission issues rather than spun cams.
