Hello everyone!!

I haven't been on the forum in a long time I've been very busy with work and family issues i have had little time to do anything SHO related..

So a few months ago the SHO started to miss at low RPMs if u gave it to much gas... it would drive just fine if you eased into the rpms.. after about 3k it would drive just fine no matter how much gas you gave it ... after a day or so it started to miss more and more at low rpms up to about 4k no matter how little gas i gave it, then after 4k it bogs down bad. its been sitting in my garage ever since. i have finally found a bit of time to start searching for the problem, and the best place to find help is here. plugs and wires were replaced about 20k ago, we checked the front plugs and wires and they seem fine, im truly stumped and don't know where to start first. i think it has to do something with fuel because she's running rich. any help is appreciated. thank you

the first place to start is always to pull codes, because if you have codes that will help you narrow your search for the culprit much faster and for much less money (unless you are lucky and then you should buy a lottery ticket and cost won't matter....)

your symptoms sound like a bad tps or bad o2 sensors or both, but it really is important to pull those codes.

The codes will help for sure and a little more info on the car would help. How many Miles? Any 60k service? Or other routine maintenance.... I had this same prob a while back did Water pump, timing belt, crank sensor, cam sensor, tps plugs, wires, full 60k and other numerous parts and it ran fine after that! Good Luck...:laugh_ti:

okay so a little backround on the SHO, about 20k miles ago i replaced plugs and wires, intake manifold gasket, and the valve cover gaskets, about 3k miles ago i had the water pump, timing belt and drive belts replaced, the fuel pump fuel regulator fuel rails and injectors have never been reaplaced.

hope this helps a little,
