Excellent Bob...I wonder if a narrow stripe above and below would be nice too -- a la the 60's Mustang and Shelby stripes.

Where are these available and cost if you would share that info --
Cheers.

Those are my all time favorite stripes. Well, I did love the Boss 302 Stripe package in 69 too.

They were "made" and installed by a Formula One Tint Shop. I'm sure any reputable shop with a cutter can make anything you want. They cost me $100 installed. They did a photo shop with the stripes as you suggest, but it just didn't look right on the SHO.

Thanks for the info.....Man that looks really good on the Red Candy. I'll be asking about that at my tint shop.

The idea was to set the SHO off from other Taurus sedans. The badges are rather small and the stripes give it a sembalance of being something other the run of the mill car.

I gotta say that I usually hate ALL stripes but those look really good. I don't think that I would like them on my black SHO however the white and red look really good together! :thumb:

Agreed on the black which is sexy as is. Striping is rather nice on the red tho.

I really like the look of the stripe. I am thinking about doing the lower stripe with the SHO at the rear of the stripe. I am thinking of doing it in gray because it would be a better contrast from the black at the bottom to the gray of the stripe into the red of the car. Give me some feedback. Gray or white for the stripe, I'm still really undecided.

Interesting choice mj....I'd love to see the SHO at the rear for comparison.
I'm thinking that white striping would be nicer than the grey tho which would draw attention to the grey lowers. If you're not planning on painting those lowers then it might be fine.

I will eventually paint those grey areas as someone did (red SHO) which will further enhance the white striping.......

The stripes are "silver" not white, to match the "small" pinstriping at the belt line. Attached is the 1st photo shop pic she did for me with the SHO at the rear. As you can see, it did not have the completed look when they went from door to door. Looks better fender well to finder well. I also didn't like the "SHO" at the rear.

Makes sense that it matches the pinstriping....I personally like the SHO at the front too....but I suppose that's a matter of choice.....

Nice job....g/l with the exhaust today.
