SHO stalls until it is warmed up

i have to keep my foot on the gas until it is warmed up and then it will idle on its own. its driving fine. no check engine light. any ideas what is causing this...thanks.

IAB? Just a guess. It's the idle air bypass. It think it might get clogged now and then. More intelligent answers to follow(from more intelligent peeps, of course)

The engine runs quite a bit richer when cold. Maybe the fuel filter? When was the last time it was changed? I usually change them every two years along with the engine coolant.

i cant remember the last time i changed the fuel filter. at least a year though. wouldnt fuel filter cause it to run crappy even when warmed up though? any other possibilities? thanks

You might have a bad Engine Coolant Temperature sensor.

Or a vacuum leak, sounds like the engine is running quite lean when cold.

Any codes?
