Oh htey will have to really look to find it.
BB=ball bearing
I'm sure a lot of people will want to know the A/R size of the turbo.
BB = Ball bearing
Yes, specs on turbo are a must.
housing A/R, comp wheel and turbine wheel sizes.
I assume the TiAl comes with a .6 Bar spring? And does the full kit include the lines to water cool the WG?
Good stuff SHOSOURCE.
Can't wait to check it out in person at the Convention! Any plans to do a higher boost dyno? By my calculations, you should see near 340whp @ 12psi.
Got it, not it is a journal bearing but it can be changed. We will also have an oil-less option.
For example:They make self-contained units these days.
Huwhat?
You mean a water-less one?
Interesting. Is $1400 the total cost, or extra?
Well the pricing i have seen its 1400$ for the sealed oil less turbo. Nothing els.
At that price you could buy a much better ball bearing turbo thats going to last longer, and spool quicker.
Thank you, SHO Source for bringing us more goodies to spend our hard earned money on.
Okay, so how much is a 100 hp going to cost us? While I do understand tooling and all the other fabrication costs, I sure hope it is affordable and not something insane, especially for as long as everyone has had to wait for this.
Waiting with baited breath, when are kits available for purchase?
since when did the internet get so serious?Neither of you two 'jokesters' gave a thanks, but have been plenty free in giving of your 'humor'. Just sayin'.
You are drunk, but keep drinking, I'll explain.I may be drunk but...
"Option One:
Includes the uncoated hot pipes without the ****** for the turbo for your own application. Some fabrication may be needed depending on your turbo. (Turbo not included)"
SHOSource item description says they provide a base tune for TwEECer, but recommend further dyno tuning on an individual basis. Does that answer your question?It's a 20 freakin' page thread, so excuse my laziness. What's the tuning plan with this kit?
Oh they will have to really look to find it.
While the oil less turboes are cool and add to the ease of installation i would not reccomend them at this point.
Coming from a business stand point these oil less turboes are fairly new.
The cost of them (1400+) added to the price of a 5000$ kit in this community, you would be lucky to sell a couple.
They also require maintence every 50,000 miles but thats not that much of a big deal.
Its one of those things where the cool factor out weighs the probability to actually sell one.
