One word bro..WOW!!! Car looks sick great job man...my 93 the body line is shaved 2 but haven't got to the handles yet... how did you do the handles and do you use a remote to open the doors?!?

Now that this thread is alive again; how did you remove the black window trim without damaging it?

The triangle window or the regulars ones??? The little triangle ones ine the back are one single peice and they are "glued" in. Well not glue but something along the lines of that. Those were the only trim peices that did not come off when the 89 got painted. Now its the only thing that looks like shit on the car. BUt I am having them taken out and replaced soon. Hopefully I can get new ones still.


The regular window trim just pops out and is held in by clamping force. it kinda has to be pried open a little bit then slid downwards slowly. Having 2 people made it easier. The bottom ones just pop off. Thats for the 4 regular windows.

Thats on an 89 so I would guess the Gen 2 is the same.

I meant the regular window trim. In your case, can't you just remove the rear opera windows as an assembly?
