If you've got the SHO Shop/SHO Bros. headers on your car, AND you've got functional air conditioning, I'd like to know what brand of AC liquid line (the little one that runs from the evaporator fitting at the bottom of the firewall, around behind the PS pulley and up the right fender) you've got in the car.
It's come to my attention through some experimentation that not all liquid lines are created equal, that the original factory piece probably is the only one that's really made for clearance to the SHO motor, that some aftermarket pieces will not even clear the stock exhaust manifold, the Motorcraft replacement part does clear a stock manifold but not the header.
I ended up taking a Motorcraft line and a 3/4in aluminum block with holes drilled in it at right angles, cutting the J-bend out of the firewall hard-line section, and having the tubes welded into the block to make the shortest possible right-angle fitting. I think it's enough clearance, will know tonight when I try to trial-fit more stuff.
