I've got a '90 SHO & I picked up a '91 Plus hood. Everything matches up fine except for the lift supports. On the '90, there's a ball socket on the hood for the support, on the Plus hood there's a female feature for a ball socket to plug into. Napa Auto parts only showed a a lift support for the standard SHO hood & nothing for the Plus hood. Does anyone know where I can get lift supports for the Plus hood? I been searching online & cannot seem to find anything. Any help would be much appreciated.

I just changed the lift supports on my plus hood(I have a plus car) and they were exactly the same as the normal lift supports. On my hood there is a ball socket for the lift support to go into. My brother posted a thread a little while back to see if there was a difference between the regular hood shocks and those for the plus hood. People said you just use the regular ones and that there arn't any special ones.

The cheapest I found the shocks for was $20 shipped and the makers website says they have a limited lifetime warrenty. The sellers name on ebay is ukeepup but he doesn't have any currentyly listed.

OK, I looked a little closer at where the supports attach & someone had removed the balls sockets (the threaded clips are still there). I'll just take them off my old hood. Thanks for the help.
