AutoSHO
No SHO = Mo $$$
I did solder them, I didn't figure anything else would work as well. The wires worn on mine both ran into the EEC test harness. One was a ground, one was a test wire. The others hadn't worn into the copper yet, so I just put fresh tape over em.SHOSIG:
How did you "fix" those wires? Should have used a soldering iron. Mine were worn very thin on the cam sensor wire and make sure the wires are insulated from each other. Boy, it sounds like a real pain in the a$$! headbang You may need to replace your CID sensor in case it may have gone bad from the wires arcing over from each other. I'm sure you reset the computer. Good luck!
The car does throw codes if I unplug stuff, or if a part is truly malfunctioning.
Another new symptom: After sitting overnight, the car had absolutely no low end (<1500 rpms) power. If I popped the throttle open, there was a huge lag. After driving for a couple minutes, the power all came back to normal.
I'm starting to think it might just be the plugs and wires or something like that, but I don't know for sure. Stupid ass car. rant cuss
On a more positive note, it runs good 0-50% throttle once its warm!
