many here have had lots of cars. the Sho is great! and to whom made the comment on the M6 you would not want one its not all that great i almost got one but went with a SL55Amg instead. i like having a true hard top. i had a 2005 645cic and for the extra 30k its not worth it. buy a lambo and now were talking or a f430!

I’m glad my first post on this forum created so much great discussion. My point was that cars today from domestic manufacturers don’t have to take a back seat to anyone else in the world. I obviously love BMW’s and how they drive. However, the reliability and cost of maintaining them is the price. I also felt that their engines were in a class by themselves. Having a BMW and SHO with twin turbos sitting side by side in my garage has given me a new perspective. The Ford engine is more drivable and has better lower end grunt. At the same time it has no problem pulling at highway speeds. I’m just giving Ford kudos for making one **** of an engine. I’m sure Munich will respond. But for now, I’m driving the SHO!

The SHO’s motor is MUCH smoother from a standing start and more responsive when you stomp on the gas.

Oh, theres no doubt. Unless maybe you were comparing it to a deisel.

But Im curious in what other ways its more enjoyable to drive. Ya know I have to ask because everyone's different.. I like cars that I can actually shift and are well rounded, while my wife wants a cushy ride and seats that tickle her cooch- (If you get what im saying).. e90/e92's cater to almost every single driving preference whether it be deisel/gas, coupe/sedan, manual/auto, all out kicking ass on the track/sluggish as balls etc etc. Its always fun to route for the underdog, but lets get real here.

I know what you are saying. Having owned a 2002 and a manual 3 series I think I can make the leap to the 5 and 7 series I've owned. Not trying to say the SHO is a handling sled, but just a well done car.
