SHO Hood

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Stock '92 Taurus hood and the SHO hood.
The Ford parts book shows them seperately. The SHO hood is about twice the price of the regular hood.
I was hoping that the difference was aluminum but that ain't it.
Is the internal brace different to clear the SHO intake manifold?

It's a different hood. I heard that it was closer to a Sable hood with modified attachment points to clear the intake. Why not try for a rust free used one?

Take a look at a 92-95 SLO and you can imediatly tell that the hood is very different. The SLO hood has a dip in the middle but the SHO hood has the same shape as the Sable (flat accross) but with different bracing as was noted.
