SHO has no spark

Ok thought I would start fresh. The timing belt was just replaced. When the timing belt went it took the crank sensor with it. It was replaced. The car turns over and the tach comes off the 0 when it turns over (about 600-800 range) but won't start. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Did you gap the CPS correctly? There is a specified gap it needs to be from the Vanes on the Crank.

Also, did you get all the bolts back in the manifold crossover tube? Make sure everything is well grounded.

How was the belt installed? Was a written procedure used?

gap was set correctly however its still not firing. Do you think that my DIS ignition module could have been fried when the crank sensor got all chrewed up?

The electrical connection may have been pulled and damaged when the belt snagged the sensor. You may have to verify electrical continuity from the CPS to the DIS.

You still didn't answer my question as to how the timing belt was installed. Are you sure it was installed with the crankshaft and camshafts timed correctly?

yes the belt was put on correctly. Is there a way I can check to see if the DIS is working correctly?
