OMG its been sooo long since i posted an update on this.

everything was put on hold due to my first born coming to this world on 10/21/2013

i will be updating soon again, I have some parts coming in such as the pressure plate, clutch and other things to get this done. one thing for sure I will be running the power steering system from MR2 since i cant fit the pump anywhere according to my measurements.

hmmm my God!!!, its been a few months since i posted last "update"....

I have had sooo much time to think what direction is this car/project really going to. I been reading/searching a ton on chassis, body work, aerodynamics, weight reduction, functionality. etc...

I think this car is no longer going to be an everyday driver as I was planning, and because of that I am beginning to go through the inventory of things I have to fix/replace, and things that need to be redone before the car goes back into the street/track.

The good news for everyone here is that this engine will at the latest be running by mid this year from its 2+ year slumber. The car will stay on jack-stands until money is flowing again and I have a job again. (long term unemployment sucks balls HARD, specially when partially disabled)

I have begun to simplify things with electrical and electronics in order to increase reliability and to make car simpler to diagnose/work on when things do go bad.

This car will meanwhile be funded by selling used parts from it that i do not need and/or parts that will be chucked aside due to weight reduction/chassis reinforcing...... unless i win the powerball (and I throw money at it like a lonely guy throws money at strippers LOL) then this car will become a crazy sho build of epic proportions :omgsho:

sooo like yeah :munch: the SHO powered probe will be done.

:woo-hoo:

Selling parts

I have known this man for many years through the blogs - He is the best - He truly turned an angry mob against me many a time on the, Taurus blogs - My Tasurus GLR is doing well and I wish him well with his project.

I've had 2 of the 2.2 turbo probes and I'm on my 2nd mtx car
I'm really impressed that you were able to stick with it and get it this far hope to see the finished product

update.

no start yet on engine due to double/triple checking of all wiring and routing of wiring harness. sho ecu does powerup and only gives me an error for power steering which is gone for now, did redo the unirail on the passenger side.

the stock probe starter cranks engine good and the fuel system works great. Im waiting on injectors to be cleaned and again triple checking everything on car.

dash board i added a light so it works with the sho oil pressure sensor which only purpose is to double check oil psi and rod bearing early warning :angelnot:
will post pics/vids soon.

ohhh i forgot to post pics of redone unirail and notch

:)

WP 20141220 001 zpse8f5b5d0

WP 20141221 001 zps8e0c37a6

reason why i had to redo the unirail was because i was not comfortable with unirail being notched all the way back by firewall and i was told by shops that do "race cars" is that is not safe to notch it that far back and that in that case i might as well go with a full tube frame from firewall fowards.

being that i did not have the cash to spend on a full tube frame front end I said screw it and put in a new unirail, will not do it again too much work and headaches, and did create a small notch at front/middle of unirail to clear water pump pulley
