Have long been intrigued by the Ford SHO and the quality of the engine. Just purchased a super clean 1994 and thought it would be good to get involved in a SHO Forum when needing some feedback.

I just purchased a 1994 SHO with 90,000 automatic, 3.2. I have a skip in the engine at idle, but when you accelerate, it smooths out. I've noticed while going into a curve and letting off the gas, and then assuming acceleration, it skips a bit. Anyone else had this problem? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Check your plugs and wires. Pull any codes. after that I would look at the IAC or the TPS. spray clean you MAF while you're poking around under the hood.

I purchased the huge shop manual but I would like a book that just covers the Sho engine for troubleshooting and repair. I find that the big book that I purchased seems to cover diagnostics mostly and it isn't helping me with the skip in the engine that I'm experiencing. Thanks so much!

I have the engine manual for the 3.0 not 3.2.... is there one for a 3.2?

What is your email and I can send you the 3.0 manual...some of it will apply to the 3.2 and every little bit helps right.
