When Bizzy shipped my my transmission (MTX BTW) it was shipped in a rubbermaid container. I think it cost me a hundred bucks or so from Michigan to Maryland.

Yeh I shipped mine a rubermaid (I think 30 some gallon) to Bizzy. I filled it with peanuts and wrapped the tranny in bubble wrap. I also drilled holes and zip tied that top down. I think it cost like $60 to get it form Maryland to Michigan via UPS. The MTX weighs a little short of 100 pounds.
