Today I was driving home in my 91 White Sho Plus from work when the plastic shifting cable bushing (the one that lets you change the gears) decided to break. I am stuck in 2nd gear and it is a pain in the ass to change the gears by hand while i am driving.
I know that the shifting cables parts were discontinued and there may be 1 or 2 out hidden throughout the US but I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and if there is a quick fix with patch kits or random bushings from an auto store.
Any Help is appreciated
