Hi,
I am having some issues with going into gear when I am parked. Details are....
Car shifts fine when driving. No problems with upshifting or downshifting. If I push in the clutch before I come to a stop then the car slides into gear as smooth as silk, but if I let the clutch out at idle and then push it back in the car does not want to go into gear. Any gear is harder, but it will usually go into 3rd and up. Once it goes into a gear (doesn't matter which one) then it shifts into all of them fine. Here is the info on what has been done so far.....
New SB stage 3 clutch, new clutch cable with new cable bushings, new rod shifter bushings. Fluid is new and clean. I tried switching from Maxlife to Mobil 1 with no effect. It is almost like the clutch isn't quite disengaging all the way. Feels like it needs one more "click", but it won't. I know I read a thread about how to manually adjust it a while back, but now I can't find it. I think it was started by Texas Tony or one of the Texas guys. Thanks

Forgot to mention the syncros and blocking rings were replaced in the trans about 7-10k ago with some that I got from Bizzy.

Nobody?

Well I messed around with the adjuster. Didn't really seem to help. As the outside temp comes up it seems to shift better. Would this mean that as the trans fluid gets warmer and thins out it is shifting better? If so, what fluid would be recommended? Already tried mobil 1 and Maxlife.

I'm starting to think that it may be an internet trans issue. Any transmission guru's have an idea what is worn out? 1-2syncro? Blocking ring?

I don't think anything in your trans is really worn out...

What flywheel do you have?

Shosource 17lb steel. It is new as well. Installed with the clutch. Funny thing is everything shifted fine, then deteriorated over the course of about 2-3 weeks. I was reading in the how to section about tightening up the linkage by replacing the rivets ect in the swivel part of the shifter. I may try that next. Hope it's not internal.
