Does anyone know how to tighten the shifter? Mine is getting loose and will rotate left and right. I think the center chrome trim piece pops off, but not certain. Hate to make a run to the dealer for such a little thing!

TIA!

Mine too and I was wondering the same thing. Feels like a screw may have worked itself loose after the pas1 1.5 years. It can't be that hard and would hate to waste the time to tighten a loose screw.

According to the 2010 and 2011 Factory Service manual:

1. Slide the selector lever **** bezel down to access the 2 selector lever **** screws.

2. NOTE: If equipped with a Transmission Control Switch (TCS), do not pull the selector lever **** off of the selector lever.

Remove the 2 selector lever **** screws.

Vehicles equipped with paddle shifters
3. Remove the selector lever ****.
