Does anyone have a pic of SFC's installed? I haven't actually seen these things, but from what it seems, they are welded to the SF? So is it actually welded like that? I'd hate to do another clutch job if those are welded to the SF!

How do you have access to replace the fuel filter? Maybe it's just the angle of the picture but it doesn't look like the filter would slip down through the opening. Just curious?ddawson:
Here's mine.

Looks like its been on there for awhile so he probalu just took a picture while it was on a lift to show them to others.SuperG:
That photo looks like the frame is being pre-stressed...is that so?
Can you put some jack stands or wheel ramps under the wheels? If you dont have a lift this would be the only way i could see a DIY doing this job.RI-SHO:

You defitnaly DO NOT want to weld them on while the wheels are hanging and the frame de-stressed with no weight on it.
I wouldn't recomend it. You want the chassis to be simetrical at install to insure proper alignment. Lift = only way to go. Even then measurements should be made to check for the squareness of the cars chassis before welding.92sho16:

Exactly what I did when I welded mine on.SHOZ123:
When mine were put on the wheels were hanging and the SFC was supported. Then the body was dropped a bit to put a slight bow in the SFC before they were welded in place.
