So, I used the search function and didn't find any info. I know someone has to have replaced it at some point. I checked goggle and they talk about removing the front passenger side wheel and fender liner and jacking the engine up. Is this the proper and only way, or has one of the gurus found an easier way?

Mine is good for now, but I'm sure it should be replaced as I'm getting ready to do some preventative maintenance soon.

Easer if you have a lift. remove R F tire and just take out the front half of the liner and pull it out of the way. now you can get ratchet on the tensioner, it has a 3/8 square hole in it so you can take the pressure off of the belt. I replaced the pully at the same time as i was getting bearing noise. now you can get a ratchet and socket on the 3 bolts holding the tensioner if you want to change it too. takes longer to get the car in the air and pull the liner.

Ok, thanks. Probably take me longer to set up my quick jack than to change it out. That's why I planned on doing a few things all at the same time since it will already be up.

Sorry to dig up an old thread. What is the correct part number for the serpentine belt? My car now has 110k miles so it's probably time to change it.

Modern EPDM belts last a long time. I just changed mine @116K. A belt wear gauge show that it was about 50% worn.

Ordered it. Looks like the only way to check the condition would probably be just as easy to go ahead and replace it.

I am now going to assume it was the first one. I ordered the second and it is obviously too short to be the serpentine belt.

Or, maybe I'm looking at the belt incorrectly, as the belt I received has both of those part numbers on the packaging. Is it really only about 22 inches long when the loop is compressed? The belt itself has GB5E-6C301-BA FL9JA 6PK1140 printed on it. I expected the belt to be considerably longer.
