When im driving my 89, every so often the car will begin to buck, it happens mostly when im in 3rd gear and ive let off the gas then get back on it, the bucking will not stop unless the car is shut down. Any Ideas of what this may be?

I'll take a wild guess and say it's the CMP (Camshaft position sensor) going out. But without more info it's hard to tell. Try running the codes for the car and see what you get.

I'm with masho95 on this one too. My MTX did this, and changing my cam sensor solved the problem.

I would say check the 4-pin connector & the ground for the cps/pip for proper pin fit. If the CPS/pip fails you are no longer a motorist-you are a pedestrian.
